Bournemouth International Centre

The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is a huge complex with a wide variety of halls that can be laid out in different formats.

The Windsor Hall is the main auditorium and has hosted rock and pop concerts, political party conventions and trade exhibitions and sporting events.

Other halls are smaller and suitable for exhibitions and functions and there is a licensed bar and lounge facilities on the site. You can also book smaller function and meeting rooms and there is Wi-Fi network throughout the building. It has its own car park.

The Pavilion Theatre

The Pavillion Theatre along with the BIC host an entertainment programme including world renowned comedians, rock, pop and classical concerts including those performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

The Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom is a more traditional venue built in the 1920s but refurbished in 2007. It regularly hosts West End stage shows, opera, ballet, pantomime and comedy.

Cinemas in Bournemouth

Bournemouth has a good share of cinemas. Down on the seafront is The Waterfront Imax Cinema. This is a 400 seat tiered theatre with a screen taller than four double-decker buses and a six channel surround sound system pumped through over forty speakers! Films are shown in both 2D and 3D and take you on journeys that imitate the real experience such as scaling Everest, the world's tallest mountain and "Ski to the Max" showcasing skiing, snowboarding, sports action powder skiing in the Himalayas and Alaska.

Live Entertainment Bournemouth

In a Grade II listed converted church on Exeter Road near the town centre you'll find the contemporary styled Landmarc Restaurant Theatre. A wide variety of entertainment is hosted here including The Comedy Store, tribute shows, pop stars from past and present and alternative entertainment.

It's a 500 capacity venue catering for all sizes of night out from couples to corporate events and parties.

The Pier Theatre

Bournemouth Pier continues to host traditional summer entertainment with the Summer Show and variety acts in its Pier Theatre. The restaurant and bar on the Pier are handy for pre-show dinner and drinks.
