Dorset Golf Breaks

Dorset is excellent for Golf breaks. The natural Dorset heaths that once covered a large part of the county lends themselves to traditional golf courses with fine fescues and bents. In fact some valuable heathland habitat is best conserved within some golf clubs' boundaries. There is a mix of heathland and parkland courses across Dorset and plenty of choice for a range of challenges. A few courses are mentioned below but try the links right for comprehensive information on golf courses and breaks in Dorset.

You'll find a concentration of golf courses around Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole in East Dorset. A scattering of other courses can be found as far north as Sherborne all the way down to the coast. Try the stunning clifftop Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club for fantastic views!
