A beautiful Self Catering cottage, full of chocolate box charm, conveniently located on the edge of Puddletown village, Dorchester, Dorset.

This quaint little 18th century cottage is a perfect choice for those who wish to stay in charming self catering accommodation while exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside. With its own pretty garden with a direct footpath over the river Piddle, it leads to the unspoilt heart of the old village with all its amenities. Available for stays of a week or more, we also offer the option of long weekends or mid-week breaks depending on the time of year. The Cottage, which adjoins to main house enjoys its own private outlook from the main first floor bedroom across the meadows with horses, deer, foxes, herons and egrets.

Puddletown is an attractive village with a beautiful 15th century church. Plenty to do, it has many shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas and theatres close by. A short drive away is Dorchester, the county town of Dorset with its Roman remains. Visit the many beautiful places around the town or enjoy a charming walk down by the river. There are also many pleasant gardens to visit close to playing fields. Monkey World, Zorb South UK, Bovington, the Cerne Giant, Abbotsbury swannery and Weymouth and Portland (venue for the 2012 Olympic Games sailing events) are also close by.
