Grade II listed building, self catering Dorset holiday cottage set in Askerwell village, close to all local attractions and amenities, sleeps 4, pets welcome.

This charming, full of character, 17th century stone-built cottage is located in the heart of the stunning Dorset countryside, minutes from the world-renowned Jurassic coastline. Part of a Grade II listed building, the cottage benefits from olde-worlde charm but with a modern twist. The conversion means we offer larger rooms and windows than the more traditional cottages and provide airy, spacious, yet warm and cosy accommodation. The cottage is available for a week or for shorter breaks depending on the time of year. Sleeping up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms, there is also a cot and high chair and double inflatable mattress provided for additional guests. Dogs and pets are also welcome.

Nestled below Eggardon Hill, The Haywain Cottage boasts its own walled courtyard, overlooked by the beautiful parish church of Askerswell. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Askerswell is just minutes from the quaint market town of Bridport and the seaside resort of West Bay. Whether you enjoy walking or cycling, there are a selection of stunning pathways to follow over the picturesque countryside. Visit the charms of the nearby villages and towns or travel a little further afield and enjoy the attractions of the National Trust Properties for which this part of England is famous. No matter what you choose, there is really something for everybody. We offer 2 beautiful bedrooms; a master bedroom with 4 poster bed and a spacious twin bedroom. Bed linen, bedding and towels are provided. There is a modern bathroom with a bath, shower, wash basin and WC. Guests can enjoy a large open-plan living area with TV, DVD, VCR and CD/radio. The fully fitted, fully equipped kitchen comprises of an oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. A Travel Cot, playpen and highchair are available on request. Outside is a small courtyard area with garden furniture for those who wish to sit outside and enjoy the Dorset country air.

Bedroom 1 is a bright airy double-fronted room with 4 poster bed. Bedroom 2 is a spacious room with two 3ft divan beds. For additional guests or infants we also provide a double inflatable mattress (no linens), a travel cot (no linens) and high chair

There is a beautiful secluded courtyard to the rear of the property with a stunning vioew of Askerswell church. We adopt a no smoking policy throughout the accommodation. Pets are welcome (max.2) Short break rates are available.
