The fantastic World Heritage Jurassic Coast is just a few minutes drive away and Golden Cap, the highest headland on the south coast, lies within easy walking distance. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, making this the ideal base for a walking or cycling holiday.

Wisteria Cottage B&B's aim is for you to enjoy yourself in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The wonderful non smoking bedrooms overlook the unspoilt Marshwood Vale and the picturesque village of Whitchurch Canonicorum - in medieval times one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country. There is a friendly and welcoming pub offering homecooked food and good beer within walking distance, ideal for evening meals or a refreshing drink.

Rooms Description

Wisteria Cottage B&B has a double and twin room available, both with en-suite shower and WC and breathtaking far reaching views . Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, along with a supply of biscuits from the local Moores Dorset Biscuit Company. A colour TV with teletext, radio with alarm clock, hair dryer and shaver points are also provided, along with periodicals. We offer a full English or Continental breakfast or you might like to try our locally smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. If you prefer a vegetarian option or have special dietary requirements then we are happy to cater for these, with a little prior notice.

Specialities

Off road parking and secure cycle storage are available. We also loan binoculars, fossil hunting equipment, maps and walking guides free of charge. We speak German.
