Welcome to Dunster Farm, offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in our beautiful 16th century farmhouse situated in Broadoak at the heart of the Marshwood Vale. Our home retains many original features such as oak beams and a log fire. We are the third and fourth generation to farm here with cows, sheep and chickens. The children are most welcome to help collect eggs and watch the milking of the cows. We are an ideal base for a touring holiday being surrounded by Dorset, Devon and Somerset.

Our central location means that there is plenty to see and do in the local area. The nearest town is Bridport, just three miles away and has traditional markets, shops and restaurants aplenty. West Bay, just next to Bridport is a bustling harbour resort and home of the TVs 'Harbour Lights'. Pilsdon Pen, the highest point in Dorset is just a short distance from the farm as is the impressive Jurassic Coast with sandy beaches at Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Burton Bradstock. Hugh Fernley Whittingstall's River Cottage is just a 25 minute drive away and we have been recommended on their list of accommodation.

Rooms Description

We have three guest bedrooms available, all ensuite with TV, clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have access to their rooms at all times of the day as well as use of the guest lounge which has a colour TV and open oak beams. All rooms enjoy stunning views across rural west Dorset countryside. We have a double room a family room sleeping 4 and a family room sleeping 3(+cot). Wake up to a delicious home cooked full English breakfast. Alternatives are available on request.

£27 for 5+ nights, £30 for 3,4 nights, £32 for 2 nights and £34 for one night.
Children (when sharing) £22 per night aged 12+, £20 a night aged 8-12, £14 a night aged 8 and under. Babies £8 a night (cot and bedding provided).
Children in their own room are charge adult prices.
