Rose Cottage is situated high on the side of the hill overlooking Lulworth Cove, enjoying stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. This Grade II listed thatched cottage dates back to the mid 18th Century is just next door to The Cromwell House Hotel. It is available as self catering accommodation or on a B&B basis. It provides a homley style of accommodation with five 5 cosy bedrooms, two with ensuite showers. All bedrooms are fitted with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a large family sized bathroom shared between the other three bedrooms and a delightful sitting room with wood burning stove and freeview TV. It is just a step from Rose Cottage to the Hotel where an excellent Full English Breakfast is served. Cottage guests are also able to enjoy use of the Hotel`s Restaurant and Bar which provides excellent home cooked Dinners and Cream Teas. Local seafood is the speciality.

Rose Cottage and The Cromwell House Hotel are situated in their own secluded gardens high above Lulworth Cove with the most outstanding views. You can walk from the garden on a woodland walk up onto Bindon Hill with stunning views down into Lulworth Cove itself. The surrounding hills are abundant with wild flowers in spring and summer and butterflies abound. We are the perfect venue for exploring the World Heritage Site that is our Jurassic Coast. If you want a combination of seaside and countryside there is nowhere better to spend a holiday. We also welcome Dogs! Rose Cottage provides the perfect getaway for individuals, couples of all ages, families or groups of friends. We are particularly children and pet friendly and provide a unique personal service to all our guests.

Rooms Description

Rose Cottage, situated just next door to the hotel, has five bedrooms, two doubles with ensuite showers, a double with sea view, a twin and a single which can be used as a child`s twin with pull out bed. These three rooms share a large family bathroom with bath and shower. Individual rooms can be taken in Rose Cottage on a bed and breakfast basis with use of the comfortably furnished sitting room with wood burning stove and Freeview TV.

The Cottage Annexe, another versatile family unit, with two bedrooms, bathrooms and large living area. On the ground floor of this cottage there is a fully equipped disabled room connected to the hotel by a small lift. We hold regular Art and Photographic Courses and have welcomed groups with interests such as Bird Watching, Butterflies, Geology, Thomas Hardy, Bicyclists, Classic Car enthusiasts and many others. Car parking is available.
