Highway Farm B&B and Ganders Cottage are situated in a tranquil rural position just one mile from the sea and the market town of Bridport. The character, four star farmhouse bed and breakfast boasts fabulous views of the surrounding countryside from every room. The house has full central heating, plus an open fire for cosy evenings in the winter months. Stunning views from every room french windows lead onto a large patio and garden where, whenever possible, we take breakfast whilst enjoying the wonderful wildlife and spacious guest bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and complete with TV and complimentary tea tray, fresh milk in the fridge. Hearty breakfasts! Prices are inclusive of a full English or continental breakfast and all ingredients are sourced and produced locally. We aim to make your stay special.

Both the self catering holiday cottage and bed and breakfast are set in unspoilt grounds from which you can see sheep grazing in the fields, rabbits frolicking and buzzards soaring the thermals high above. The coastal footpath is easily accessible from the farm, and bus stop outside of our drive! Breathtaking views to be seen and the walk to the coast is well worth the effort! The local pub, The Ilchester Arms in the village of Symondsbury, is a 15 mniutes walk along country lanes where you will find a warm welcome and a good local pint. Also you must visit our local market day in Bridport on Saturdays, buzzy atmosphere and great bargains! There's so much to do and see whatever the time of year.

B&B: All rooms are ensuite, spacious with wonderful views, seating area for you to read, digial tv and tea trays. We have comforable king and single bedded rooms suitable for double, twin or family and a choice of shower room or bathroom. Ganders Cottage; a delightful self catering holiday property ideal for a couple, a family, or two couples holidaying together. Master bedroom with king bed and private bathroom; Ground floor bedroom with twin beds and en-suite shower room, very suitable for anyone with limited mobiliy as parking is right outside the door. Large lawned fenced garden with summerhouse and sun loungers, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Can offer the cottage for B&B out of season. Short Breaks from Oct-March.

Specialities

Champagne and flowers can be arranged for those celebrating a special occasion whilst staying at the B&B. Please join us for one of our Willow/basket/Arty Workshops. Come and learn a new skill, workshops are small and friendly with expert local tutors. I can arrange for a pamper afternoon with a local Complimentry Therapist, to come to you room so that you can relax and enjoy yourselves! Overlook 2 well stocked coarse fishing lakes, fishing lessons can be arranged. For the cottage guests fresh vegetables can be delivered to the door on the day of arrival and ready meals can also be arranged to be delivered by a local company.
